Check In/Out: If necessary, campers can come late or leave early during the four-day camp to meet family needs, however we must have prior written permission from a guardian.
Check-in will be from 4:00pm-5pm at the housing site. Check out will be from 12:30pm-1:15pm at the housing site.
Room & Board:
Summer Camp: Our summer camp will host the campers in on-campus dorms within walking distance to the track facilities and dining halls. Each room can hold two campers. Campers are not allowed to be inside the room of a camper of the opposite sex at any time. All meals are provided at camp, with the majority of meals held at Rams Head Dining Facility on campus. Campers may bring extra snacks for their dorm room. There are no TV’s, microwaves or refrigerators in the dorms.
Winter Camp: Our winter camp will host the campers at a local hotel, and will have meals catered. Each room can hold two campers. Campers are not allowed to be inside the room of a camper of the opposite sex at any time. All meals will be provided for the campers, with the majority of meals being catered. Campers may bring extra snacks for their hotel room. There will be tv's and mini refrigerators in the hotel rooms.
Summer Camp: Housing for summer camp is in a private college dorm. The dorm has a 24 hr. security guard. Either the camp director or a college coach will stay each night of the camp in the dorm.
Winter Camp: Housing for winter camp in the Hampton Inn on Farrington Road. The hotel has 24hr. front desk service. Either the camp director or camp coaches will stay each night of the camp in the hotel.
What to Bring: Campers may want to bring additional spending money for pizza or extra snacks to have in their dorm. Any additional supplemental rehab tools such as foam roller, massage stick, or massage balls are also encouraged if that is your normal routine. Please also bring an extra towel (in addition to your shower towel) for our off-campus runs.
*For Summer camp: You will need to bring bed linens, shower towel, bath accessories, and a pillow.
Training Attire: Please check the weekly forecast leading up to camp and pack clothes to accommodate the weather. We recommend packing two sets of workout clothes for each day to prevent from spending the day in wet clothing. Campers should bring any competition shoes or equipment that they may need including, but not limited to, shoes, spikes, pole vault poles, discus, shot put. Also pack lots of short and t-shirts, sun block, bathing suit and rain gear.
*For the summer camp, campers will need a swimsuit and towel for the pool.
*For the winter camp, sweat pants and a light jacket may be needed.
Travel: If you are flying or taking the bus arrangements can be made for pickup and return to the airport or bus station.
